Boring club nights and DJ’s playing the same old tired music will soon be a thing of the past in Dundee when Stick It On launches at Duke’s Corner on Saturday 8th October. Firmly established as one of the most eclectic, danceable and fun nights out in the club scene, Stick It On Dundee is being masterminded by local promoter Simon Brown, on a mission to bring DJ democracy to the city and make YOU the star of the wheels of steel!

With a highly admirable ethos of not taking itself too seriously, Stick It On aims to provide something different, inviting anyone and everyone to play a 15 minute set of their favourite dancefloor fillers. No experience is necessary as there will be a technical helper on hand to guide you through the process, the ability to mix is actively discouraged and you can play vinyl or CD. What is of utmost importance however, is the desire to rock the dancefloor, get the party started, bring the ruckus and wave your hands in the air (like you just don’t care).

To apply, head over to Stick It On with your DJ name (something comical is best) and the three tracks you would like to play on the night. You can play solo or as a collective but bear in mind there isn’t that much room in a DJ booth! Your name will be added to the growing list of budding turntable wizards who want to rock the dancefloor all night long, and even if you don’t want to play make sure you go along to experience what promises to be a night that guarantees a good time for all.
