Opening Night Bonanza- Tin Roof & GENERATORprojects

This Friday the town is spoilt for choice when it comes to exhibition opening events. Why choose? Do both!

The Tin Roof Collective are hosing their very first members show. While the white space within Tin Roof is regularly host to small exhibitions, this is the first show on this scale.  The studios have been a hive of activity this week, with a busy team building partitions, painting walls, floors, and of course hurrying to finish work on time! There’s nothing quite like a looming deadline to spur you into action!

With so many different artists in the collective, the show is set to be an exciting snapshot across as many disciplines as you can think of. See Tin Roof as you have never seen it before from this Friday.

Just a stones throw away, you can see the most recent offering from the GENERATORprojects….

According to GENERATOR projects, exhibitors Lauren Printy Currie and Valerie Norris “will exhibit a series of works, sculptural assemblages and an installation of nominated books creating a mise-en-scene of colour, form and association. The artists will create a commentary on the act of looking, exploring the shifts and slippages between reality, perception and imagination.”

If you don’t know your way around, the two events have kindly agreed to guide people between the venues.
