Cultural Enterprise Office, who provide specialist services to creative businesses and practitioners in Scotland, are offering this half-day workshop in making applications and proposals, in partnership with Leisure & Culture Dundee and Generator Projects.

If you loathe putting funding applications together, then this is the session for you! During it you will explore how to clarify your ideas and intentions so that potential supporters can engage with your proposal, including:

This workshop will be of particular interest to emerging and mid-career contemporary practitioners considering writing and submitting an application to the Dundee Visual Artists and Craft Makers Awards 2013-2014. Susan Keracher, Curator of Art, Leisure & Culture Dundee, and Generator Projects invite you to stay on after the workshop (16:00-16:30) to hear more about the funding scheme and join a discussion with a previous funding recipient and selection panel member.

What will you get from attending this session? Clarity and greater understanding of how to plan and present your ideas. Or in the words of previous workshop participants:
“Ideas about how to plan & organise what your intentions are. Reminding you why you are doing what you are doing”
“How to be specific and targeted”
“What to put in and what to leave out. General hints & tips”
