Ann Lolley is project leader at Dighty Connect: a volunteer-led project enhancing the green spaces along the Dighty burn through creativity and conservation.  Projects start from local peoples interests and passions and have included everything from planting wildflowers, writing poetry, making site-specific mosaic art, community archaeology, and outdoor performances.  Volunteers are currently working on an event in April to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the little-known Longhaugh Racecourse in Whitfield. @DightyConnect.
