Architecture Fringe 2017 Open Call

The Architecture Fringe is returning for another year, from 1st – 23rd July 2017, and have announced an Open Call for the 2017 programme. Initiated by a group of architects, photographers, engineers, visual artists, curators and musicians, the Architecture Fringe is an independent, contributor-led series of events and projects across the arts which explores architecture and how it makes a difference.

The Architecture Fringe is a platform for self-initiated projects from practitioners in any field where the work explores architecture and our built environment. For 2017 , the team have invited individuals to respond to the idea of INFRA STRUCTURE within which projects can explore a number of themes and threads.

Projects may take the form of exhibitions, performances, discussions, screenings, installations, writing, lectures, walks, music, temporary structures, or anything else that you feel responds to the theme. Last year, we collaborated with Architecture Fringe to produce Turncoats, a discussion about the future of Dundee – check it our for inspiration by clicking here.

Confirmed projects must be submitted for inclusion upon the programme by 12 noon on Monday 1 May 2017 via this online form. The form asks where you intend to host the project, information about it any any relevant links to help inform the team. For more information please visit architecturefringe.com.
