Heather Cassidy

Heather Cassidy is a theatre maker, facilitator and arts engagement specialist working in youth, education and community contexts. She trained at both the University of Glasgow and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and has worked with mums and babies of a few weeks old up to first time performers at the grand age of 76, in over 600 schools and in every area of Scotland apart from the Western Isles. She is passionate about open access to the arts and working inclusively and so her work is often about developing confidence, imagination, self-belief, respect and ambition.
