The Book Launch for The History of Sculpture, the newly commissioned artist’s book by Georgina Starr, will be held on Thursday 28 November from 6.30pm in Cooper Gallery and includes an evening reception in the gallery.

The Book Launch will follow a Satellite Event to the exhibition, A Salon of The Voice, hosted by Ella Finer and Alex Hetherington, which will take its inspiration from Georgina Starr’s Before Le Cerveau Affamé and Starr’s particular use of the voice. Ella Finer and Alex Hetherington will bring together their shared interest in the way the voice performs inside and outside of the artwork, the hosts will offer their own reflections on Starr’s past, present and future work as well as opening the floor to invite response, recollection and reverberation on the theme and its tangents.

A Salon of The Voice will be held at 5.30pm, if you would like to attend please meet in Cooper Gallery where you will be guided to the venue.

Georgina Starr’s exhibition, Before Le Cerveau Affamé, has received critical acclaim and a fantastic response from audiences. You can see images and more information here.
