Creative Dundee’s Pop-up Design Cafe brought together designers and members of the public to discuss their ambitions for the future of Dundee and its citizens as a UNESCO City of Design, during the official launch programme on Friday 30th January 2015.
Approximately 60 people attended the event which focused on the following goals:
- Invite attendees to contribute their thoughts, ideas and ambitions for Dundee as a City of Design.
- Encourage informal discussion & conversation around design.
- Hear insights and experiences from local designers.
- Discuss the changing role of design in the city with a panel bringing design to new areas.
