Creative Dundee

Andy Bullick PKN

Andy Bullick is a Northern Irish stand-up comedian and performer who came to Dundee as a student in 2010. He made the city his home when he got his start in comedy after losing a bet.  Nominated for a Best New Act award in 2012 only encouraged him but losing out to someone funnier didn’t stop him performing across Scotland for the last 7 years, supporting renowned acts Ray Mearns, Jojo Sutherland, Tanya Lee Davis and Gary Faulds. With fast-paced, high energy storytelling and improvisation, his quick wit and fast mouth have meant he’s a regular on the professional circuit and at the Edinburgh Fringe since bringing his first solo show in 2014. Recently he has worked as a breakfast presenter for Dundee’s own WaveFM and shared the silver screen with Lorraine Kelly and Mark Walberg as part of the hit Dundee web-series Sons of Spielberg. He’s part of the city’s only dedicated comedy club Icebreaker Dundee, bringing the best of Scottish talent and international comics to Dundee.  When he’s not making a nuisance of himself onstage you can find him writing, acting and podcasting. @AndyBullick
