Siôn Parkinson PKN

Siôn Parkinson is an artist based in Dundee. He studied BA sculpture at Central Saint Martins and MA Fine Art at The Slade. He is currently studying for a practice-led PhD at the University of Leeds exploring a cappella singing and contemporary art performance. Alongside his art practice, for over a decade Siôn has worked as an independent curator and producer, collaborating on projects with: Art Angel, Cape Farewell, ICA (all London), ATLAS Arts (Isle of Skye), Reid Gallery (Glasgow), and The McManus Galleries & Museum (Dundee). He helped set up Dundee Design Festival in 2016. Since 2018, he runs Tilde Arts, a curatorial practice based in Dundee. Tilde are currently working with designers Dexter Sinister to launch SONGWORK.org, a field-recording database of workplace noise that will inspire a series of new ‘works songs’ for the 21st century.
