At Creative Dundee’s Amps community we develop opportunities for individuals and organisations to connect, network and get word about their work out there. One of its biggest perks is the Community Ideas Fund, where any collaboration of two or more supporters can pitch their idea for the chance of getting 50% of all Amps contributions that year to fund it!
Last year’s winners were Ryan McLeod and Connor Finlayson who won a total of £1,500 to develop the excellent Typography Treasure Hunt! This project is now part of Dundee Summer Streets Festival 2019 and they invite you to come along…
Hunt for typography treasure around Dundee’s city centre. Follow your treasure map, complete the photo challenges and win amazing prizes! Free, for all ages.
There’s lots of fun things to learn about typography, whether you’re a type nerd or a complete novice, anyone can come and get involved to explore the city in a new way. Complete the treasure hunt in teams of 3 or 4 and find your favourite examples of typography to win prizes in the photo challenges.
You won’t go home empty handed, everyone gets their own free pangram print to take away (A pangram is a sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet).
There will be free hot/soft drink for participants!
Tickets are free, but be sure to book your space on either July 20th or 21st.
