Following an incredible, fun-filled launch night full of creative vibes and cake, Vanilla Ink studios has now officially opened for business! Vanilla Ink studios is a first for Scotland, and what’s more they are based here in Dundee! Supporting up and coming jewellers, VInk offer a friendly, collaborative and an affordable studio environment, expert one to one mentoring, tailored business advice and support, and apparently even endless supplies of tea and biscuits!
Founder, Kate Pickering says, “We think there is a difference between making jewellery and being a jeweller; that the difference between having a dream and making it real is understanding the market and your place in it; and that there is a need for a supportive transition from education to independent success as a maker.”
“That’s why we offer a friendly, collaborative and affordable studio environment, expert mentoring and a year to find your feet.”
