Artists, Kim and Lara Scouller are running new Draw Paint Classes aimed at all levels and ages, focusing on developing drawing and painting skills whilst promoting health and wellbeing.
Weekend Summer Landscape Painting 10am-5pm

£20 per classJoin them for a fun weekend of “En Plein Air” painting and enjoy the outdoors while exploring Dundee’s most treasured park. These classes, taught by artist Kim Scouller, will help develop your approach to painting landscapes in watercolours and other drawing materials. £100 for 5 evenings or £20 for drop-inChoose to paint over 5 evenings or drop-in for a taster session – ln these classes led by artist Kim Scouller, you will learn to prepare surfaces, colour mixing and different paint handling techniques. You will be encouraged to make painting sketches on different scales working from observation. More formal elements of making a painting will be explored through colour, tone and composition. Lara will give you a unique insight into her approach to animal drawing from this zoological collection. In this class you will be encouraged to develop your observational skills making studies of the many curious birds and animals that live there. Suitable for beginners and all levels.
