Venue: GENERATORprojects // Dates: September 7-12

Dundee Ceramics Workshop is taking over GENERATORprojects for an exhibition of artwork created by their members, as well as artists talks, demonstrations and workshops. GENERATOR has been hosting a series of great exhibitions recently and the Ceramics Worskshop continues to be a great addition to the cultural life of the city (as we can say first hand after our office day out over there), so this promises to be an unmissable weekend.

The programme starts on Thursday 7th September 7-9pm with drinks, nibbles and live demonstrations! But the exhibition continues between September 8th-12th from 12-5pm, every day. Some of the ongoing events are:

Dundee Ceramics Workshop Committee Member, Laura Darling, talked to us about the event: “It brings together makers from different disciplines who have an interest in ceramics… a chance for everyone to be inspired, meet the makers and learn about ceramics themselves.

Hari MacMillan, Chairperson of GENERATORprojects, said: “Generator aims to support its members endeavours, and we welcome requests for short projects in between our curated programme of events. These ‘take-overs’ can be used to develop work or to show completed projects. We are delighted that September’s take-over is by Ceramics Collective. 12 artists from the collective are exhibiting with a series of workshops and talks to complement the show.
