NEoN Digital Arts Festival is taking place from 1 – 14 November and they are looking for Festival Assistants to help deliver this year’s Wired Women* programme of online and in-person events.
This is a short term role, responsibilities include;
Training will be provided at an induction session before the festival commences. This will be a sessional worker role at an hourly rate of £10 per hour. With shifts available between 10 am and 5 pm, from 10 to 14 November. Festival Assistants will be paired with another assistant/volunteer/member of NEoN staff throughout the festival.
NEoN has devised an application process that is super flexible, submissions can be made via video, a written document or an audio recording. Whatever format you feel most comfortable with for sharing your interest in the role. It is important to NEoN that the festival be as accessible as possible and that there are a diversity of voices and lived experiences on the team. The organisation encourages applications from people who are from low socio-economic backgrounds, those who face marginalisation and those facing intersectional barriers.
