Dundee Ceramics Workshop exists and thrives because of the skills, talents and energies of its voluntary committee. The workshop has reopened up to members and the class blocks will return very soon! This open call is ongoing as DCW are always open to people getting involved!
To keep the creative energies going, DCW is looking to recruit a selection of talented Volunteers! There are two different voluntary roles available to assist with the day to day running of the workshop, which are Workshop Volunteer and Tutor Volunteer to help with the following duties:
Applicants must have an interest in ceramics and be based in or near Dundee. They must be able to commit to approximately 4 hours each week including during the summer months. No formal education or qualifications are necessary but applicants must demonstrate an understanding of ceramics and a willingness to learn.
Tutor Volunteer: Free membership to our workshop, access to class content and teaching.
Workshop Volunteer: Free membership to the workshop, use of facilities (materials and firing fee still applies).
New volunteers will be given an induction to the space as well as health and safety training for the studio.
