Forgan Arts Centre have an exciting opportunity for a creative practitioner to join their team and develop a climate-focused community project.


Forgan Arts Centre are currently recruiting for the role of G.R.E.E.N Artist/Creative Practitioner who will be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of. activities on the themes of climate change and sustainability.

The G.R.E.E.N Artist/Creative Practitioner will connect with local people and volunteers about the climate crisis, climate action, and food insecurity through art, craft and creativity. They will also further develop the Community Growing Plot and the Forgan Arts Centre volunteer programme.

This role is suitable for someone with a strong interest in art, craft, creativity, climate action, the natural environment, and working with communities. Applicants should have demonstrable experience of devising, producing and/or delivering art or creative projects, programmes, or events. Forgan Arts Centre are keen to support people with their own artistic practice and are open to flexible working.

Forgan Arts Centre is a rural home for the development of traditional and contemporary art and craft and community activity in Newport-on-Tay, North East Fife. The centre was established by local-residents in 1974 and they remain community-led to this day, with representation from local people at all levels of the organisation.
