Shaper/Caper are currently recruiting for a range of crew members and creatives to join the company for their new production, Small Town Boys.

Through contemporary dance and verbatim spoken word, Small Town Boys explores what life was like for queer communities during the 1980s AIDS crisis and its continuing impact today.

Shaper/Caper looking to fill roles for six contemporary dancers, Lighting Designer, Production Manager, Stage Manager, and Assistant Stage Manager. They are particularly keen to receive applications from those who identify as LGBTQ+, alongside allies to the community.

Key dates & info for Dancers:

• Hiring: 6 contemporary dancers with at least 3 years professional experience
• £720 per week, plus subsistence
• Auditions: Tuesday 28 February, Dundee // Friday 3 March, London
• Rehearsals: Monday 3 July 2023
• Performances: Tuesday 8 August–Saturday 12 August 2023
