Now open for applications – two fully funded month-long residencies at DCA Print Studio!

DCA are now accepting applications for two fully funded residencies based in their Print Studio to take place over the next year. The residencies are supported by the Jerwood Developing Artists Fund and aimed at early career UK-based artists who wish to explore and expand their practice when working with print.

Artists will gain access to world-class equipment and support from expert printmakers in the collaborative studio environment, with the aim of encouraging experimentation and research. The residencies will be flexible, led by the artist and tailored to their access needs and interests. Budget for materials and project outcomes, a fee, and travel and accommodation will be provided.  

Applicants must have under ten years’ experience with their practice and are not required to have any previous experience working with print. There will be a public outcome at the end of each residency. The nature of this outcome is flexible and will be decided by the artist as they progress through the residency at DCA.

Applicants should send one email with the below information to dca.recruitment@dca.org.uk:

• A cover letter / email describing their practice as an artist and what they would hope to achieve from the residency (no more than 500 words written or equivalent video/voice file). 
• CV (written or video/voice file). 
• Examples of previous work – up to 5 examples.
