DJCAD and Montclair State University present ‘Home’

Students from Duncan Jordanstone College of Art and Design and Montclair State University come together for an international collaboration.

Twenty artists split between Dundee and New Jersey have been working remotely to produce two exhibitions running concurrently, over 3000 miles apart.

Home will showcase a variety of work from DJCAD and Montclair State University students whilst challenging the notion of exhibition making and hoping to offer valuable insight into working transatlantically.

The artists have independently coordinated the project via a series of virtual meetings whilst producing work to be sent to the USA and UK respectively. Each exhibition will include 20 works across a range of media from photography to sculpture and printmaking to performance.

The Dundee iteration of the exhibition will be held at Federation Gallery in April, featuring the work of the US artists.
