At the start of the year we received over 350 responses to our call-out for the places in and around Dundee that are playful, free, accessible, cultural, green and mood lifting. We’re now delighted to launch the newest 99 Things to See and Do in Dundee guide, bringing together the city’s hidden gems and favourite spots into one handy booklet!
This is our sixth crowdsourced guide and the first since the pandemic. With so much changing in the wake of 2020, our latest guide has a new look and focus, prioritising the places across the city and surrounding areas that directly contribute to the creativity, wellbeing, and community of the people who live here.
Whether someone’s visiting for the first time, staying as a student, has made the city their home or is a life-long Dundonian, the 99 Things to See and Do in Dundee guide offers inspiration to explore, celebrate and connect with Dundee and all of the wonderful experiences it has to offer.
Download the guide or pick up your copy from spots around the city in the coming weeks! And when you’re out and about exploring, be sure to share all the places you’ve visited using #DundeeGuide. We’d love to hear your favourite and unmissable spots on the map!
We have a limited number of physical guides available, if you are in the position to support the production of more copies then we’d love to hear from you!
With huge thanks to Freya Allan for the wonderful illustrations, Agency of None for the brilliant redesign, and UNESCO City of Design Dundee; Dundee: One City, Many Discoveries; and V&A Dundee for supporting the production of the guide.
We also have an accessible, black and white version of the 99 Things to See and Do in Dundee guide available to download.
