Opportunity: Mural at GENERATORprojects

Paid opportunity for emerging artist to create an outdoor mural for Dundee’s GENERATORprojects.


GENERATORprojects are seeking an emerging artist based in or around Dundee for the exciting opportunity to create a new mural (5 metres wide by 2.2 metres high) for the external wall of their unit at Mid Wynd.

There will be a fee of £1,470 for the project with an additional budget of up to £300 for materials. When submitting a design, artists are asked to consider the keywords of care, joy, resistance, DIY, community and nurture, with the freedom to use these themes directly or abstractly.

GENERATORprojects suggest a starting date of week beginning 25 Sept but are happy to work flexibly with dates if they really love your design!

GENERATORprojects is a Dundee based artist run initiative founded in 1996 by Paul Liam Harrison, Andy Kennedy and Caroline McIntee. As a volunteer organisation, they facilitate a varied cultural programme of exhibitions and events. They are committed to highlighting the importance of grass roots activity and its integral role in developing the careers of emerging artists.
