Are you ready to make your mark on the next era of fashion and textiles innovation? Scotland Re:Design, Applied Arts Scotland, Lateral North, and Fashion Interrupted are joining together for Hidden Floors – an exciting collaboration bridging the worlds of fashion and gaming – and Dundee-based designers have the chance to get involved!

The collaboration hopes to enable Dundee fashion and textile businesses to experiment with virtual clothing and explore the commercial opportunities within this burgeoning market. Offering four grants of up to £3,528 each, Hidden Floors is seeking visionary Dundee designers to bring their work to a virtual reality fashion show and exhibition at V&A Dundee.

How to apply:

• The opportunity is open to individual designers and designers working within a factory or large business.
• Each participating designer will be awarded up to a maximum of £3,528, covering 10.5 days at £336.
• All participants will receive a 5G router and will be teamed up with Fashion Interrupted and Applied Arts Scotland to work on pattern and fabrics, and to explore recreating them digitally.
• Successful applicants will create a digital collection for a virtual runway show and exhibition, and will participate in launch events and a static installation at V&A Dundee.
