Join Uppertunity for a week long celebration of community with events and workshops to help you connect and reset for the changing season.

From Sat 18–Sat 25 November, Uppertunity are taking over the Keiller Centre for the week-long Brawnches Festival. Join them for a host of events, workshops and activities including an upcycle pop-up shop from ReBoutique, lantern making workshops, vintage jewellery upcycling, open mic night, and more!

There’s something for all ages to enjoy, so drop-in each day to try something new!

Events include:

• ReBoutique upcycle pop-up shop: 10am–4pm everyday.
• Exhibition of the Future: Sun 19 Nov, 1pm–3pm. Create a small, fun exhibition through stories celebrating the way we live now and discuss how we can create changes for the future.
• Upcycled Jewellery Making: Mon 20 Nov, 10am–4pm. Play and create with beads and other pre-loved materials, and enjoy non-alcoholic mulled wine to warm you up!
• Spoken Word: Wed 22 Nov, 6pm–8pm. Listen to the renowned urban poet Mark Richardson, hear about his book, and hear from other artists.
• Lantern Making: Fri 24 Nov, 11am–1pm & 4pm–5.30pm. Join Dundee City Council and Thingumajig theatre to craft your very own illuminated lantern for the Dundee Hooley parade. Booking required.
