Travelling Gallery rolls into Dundee in April with new exhibition A Bonnie Way: Unravelling the Seduction of the Countryside, presenting the work of three artists from Hospitalfield’s Residencies Programme.
This group exhibition from Ufuoma Essi, Bobbi Cameron and Sarah Rose, explores their experiences of life and conversations in rural and semi-rural place, reframing the usual depictions of rugged Scotland with the lived experiences of artists and communities beyond the central belt.
To accompany the show Travelling Gallery are creating a library of community publications and invite anyone to submit zines, posters, publications, photos and ephemera that have been produced as a result of artists working with rural communities. They will then map the partners and projects to create an index of rural art projects.
Publications can be added to the library during the tour or sent directly to Travelling Gallery, City Art Centre, 2 Market Street, Edinburgh EH1 1DE.
