Opportunity: Inches Carr Craft Bursaries from Craft Scotland

Applications are now open for Craft Scotland’s prestigious Inches Carr Craft Bursaries 2024.

Craft Scotland are inviting applications for the esteemed Inches Carr Craft Bursaries which include awards for Emerging Maker (less than 5 years practice) and Established Maker (over 5 years practice).

Both bursaries are open to professional, practicing makers working in Scotland who are producing one-off pieces or small batch production of handmade objects. Those in the Emerging Maker category can apply for up to £2,000 and for Established Maker, up to £5,000.

Examples of activities the bursary may support include, but are not limited to; strategic research and development, further learning in the field of contemporary craft, and innovative investigation of processes and materials. More information on what craft disciplines are supported by the bursary can be found on the Craft Scotland website.

Applicants should apply through the Craft Scotland online application form providing the following information:
