They Had Four Years 2024

18th May, 6:00pm at GENERATORprojects

See the 2024 edition of They Had Four Years – GENERATORprojects’ annual show platforming the talents of Scotland’s recent graduates.

Launched in the early 2000s, They Had Four Years exists as an opportunity for GENERATORprojects to support and nurture recently-graduated artists. One year on from their Degree Shows, a selection of handpicked Fine Art graduates from art schools across Scotland get the opportunity to exhibit newly commissioned work in the GENERATORprojects galleries.

This year’s edition features the work of six artists: Lana Ferguson (DJCAD), Ammna Sheikh, Ann Pearce (Edinburgh College of Art), Jeong Lee, Martha Williams, and Ted Tinkler (Glasgow School of Art). Exploring themes from heritage and identity, the act of making, to the processes of care, it’s promising to be a varied and unmissable show.
