Date: 4 October // Venue: Dundee Central Library, Victoria Rd // Time: 3pm
Change is in the air in Dundee, but that’s nothing new. People have been finding inspiration in the changing landscape of city for centuries, charting the rise and fall of bridges and jute mills and technology’s effect on daily life. Join Local History‘s Erin Farley on a walking tour around central Dundee to discover how the people of Dundee, past and present, have embraced, resisted and remembered change through poetry and song.
The tour will meet at 3pm at the Victoria Road entrance to Dundee Central Library on 4 October. The walk will end at approximately 4:15pm outside the Old Steeple. Please wear comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. The walk will avoid flights of stairs, but please be prepared to walk or stand for the duration.
