The Gate Church Carbon Saving Project aims to help the local community adopt low carbon lifestyles while providing help to those experiencing poverty across Dundee. You can go to their regular Climate Action Network meetings or follow updates on social media.
They are also behind the Community Fridge Project in the West End, currently being built.
On 25 June they will be hosting a film screening. Inspired by Naomi Klein’s eponymous book, This Changes Everything makes the powerful case that responding to the climate crisis may be the best chance we’ve ever had to demand – and build – a better world. Journalist and filmmaker Avi Lewis’s epic documentary presents seven portraits of communities on the climate front lines.
