Believe it or not, we are already approaching the season when Christmas Markets start popping up all over the place! To save you a lot of time and energy we have compiled some of those markets happening around the city, with key links and dates!
Christmas can be a high time for things to be purchased online & packages on next-day delivery, so every year we put this list together as a way to support local makers and local events! This time we are going a little further… Some of the artists and makers at the markets listed below are also part of Creative Dundee’s Amps Community! Sustainable and plastic-free Christmas! Lots of lovely local suppliers bringing a wide variety of gifts, treats and eco workshops.
Festive Design Market at V&A Dundee // 23 & 24 November
Curated by pop-up legends Tea Green, the Design Market is packed to the festive rafters with covetable high quality design across a range of prices.
Yuletide Fair at The Circle // 24 November
An afternoon of festive fun, including festive food and drinks, local business stalls, Santa’s grotto and much more!
Christmas Night at Kitschnbake // 28 November
Kitschnbake will be turned into an indoor market with local artists and makers bringing you their goods.
Christmas Market at Taypark House // 28 November to 12 December
Local produce, crafts, home furnishings, giftware, jewellery and artwork on sale as well as an amazing festive atmosphere in the 150 year old stable
CRAFTED at DCA // 30 November
Get in the festive spirit and buy direct from over 30 talented independent designers and makers.
Winter Fayre // 30 November to 1 December
Drop into the High Mill for some mulled wine, mince pies, and the chance to finish (or start!) your holiday shopping as we host a variety of talented makers, designers, crafters and creators!
Wasps Designers & Artists Christmas Market // 1 December
Go along to Meadow Mill to check out the work of amazing artists and craft makers from the WASPS Studios!
Snowball Winter Market at Dock Street Studios // 1 to 31 December
Over the month of December they will showcase a packed line up of designers, artists and makers products alongside winter themed workshops and events.
Christmas Night Market at Duke’s Corner // 3 December
The Christmas Night Market is a great chance to support local food, drink and craft producers.
Makers for Maggie’s // 8 December
A fantastic line up of local and regional designers, artists and makers all supporting Maggie’s Cancer Centre in Dundee.
Urban Market pt.2 // 14 & 15 December
A weekend-long curated event centered around an incredible line up of talented traders.
Blend Creates Christmas Market // 15 December
Local artists and makers will be selling their items from ethical clothing and artisan bread to handmade pottery and bespoke jewellery.
Christmas Market at Steeple Church // 16 December
Local food producers, gin distillers, chocolatiers, local brewery’s, bespoke jewellery and gorgeous gifts, not forgetting special Christmas hot drinks with mulled cider and wine for the festive season.
