The new February to June 2020 Programme for Discovery Point and Verdant Works is now available online, which includes music, talks, workshops and a whole lot more for the whole family. Highlights include:

Artist Talk from Nicola Wiltshire

Nicola Wiltshire’s bold, colourful work is on display at Verdant Works’ temporary exhibition, Spirit of the Jute Mills. She will discuss her inspiration, practice and even how she makes her own oil paint!

Patrick Geddes, Ecology and Polar Research

This lecture at Discovery Point is an exploration of both his pioneering ecological research at University College Dundee and of his support for Antarctic research.

Music in the Mill

Head along for the special fortnightly programme of lunchtime concerts at Verdant Works featuring a wide range of musical genres. Details of the guest performers will be announced as they are confirmed so please check back for more information.

A Multi-Sensory Polar Adventure

Find out about intrepid polar explorer Apsley Cherry-Garrard and ‘the worst journey in the world’ in this amazing multi-sensory storytelling session. Ages 3-8.
