The Social Innovation Camp or SI Camp has announced the results of their Scottish search for new ideas and two of the ideas from the Dundee session made it into the final six.
The two that made it were Morna Simpson from Dundee Universities ‘Community Investors Club’ which aims to encourage people to set up and support small community clubs, creating mico-businesses and my own idea ‘Citipedia’ which plans to help communities have a better input into their urban environment. You can view the full final six ideas over at the SIcamp website.
The main event itself will take place from the 19th – 21st June in the Saltire Centre, Glasgow. It would be great to get as many people from Dundee, or from anywhere else, to come along and help turn the ideas into reality. During the 3 days I will endeavor to get some posts up on Creative Dundee of how ideas are progressing, so watch this space I guess!
