Long time visitors to the site will remember our previous post and fondness of artist Peter Mansfield’s work. Two years on, his new work, in the forthcoming exhibition ‘We Reign Invisible’ looks particularly note-worthy and definitely worth a visit to the Little Theatre.
Peter’s artworks – constructed with materials from the recent Alexander and Ann Street multis demolition sites, will be on show at the Little Theatre alongside the work of Astrid Leeson; and poetry on the opening night by Gary Robertson. Do keep an eye out for Peter’s work featured further up the Hilltown on Alexander St. Industrial Buildings, we believe you can’t miss it!
This exhibition, in-conjunction with Dundee City Council Environment Arts Team, coincides with the launch of the new Documenting Hilltown website, which does exactly what it says on the tin!
There’s an open invite to the opening night, and with other events to get involved in (see below), you can guarantee whether you’re from the top, middle, bottom or none of the Hill, there will be something for everyone!
