Are you scared of paper? Love making art and want to draw, but find yourself constantly rubbing out and tearing not just tearing the paper, but also your hair out? Perhaps you have not been making art for a period of time and want to get back into it. If so, you should read on!
Jen Robson runs a different kind of class, which focuses on fun, freedom and building confidence in your art; suitable for anyone with a love of making art. Whether you are of amateur or professional experience, it is designed to help you build your confidence in what you do again.
Jen’s focus is on play and loosening up, with a series of weekly quick break out exercises and then the opportunity to spend longer on pieces, via projects with themed and varied subject matter each week. You will be shown new techniques, be challenged at your own pace, and be supported throughout the experience within a small class, with personal attention and feedback on your work. You’ll also be encouraged to ask questions and bring along ideas of what you would like to try.
Spaces for this class are limited to 5 people which is a nice comfortable size. The course runs from Saturday 10th March until Saturday 21st April 10am – 12.30pm. The course fee is £90.
You’re encouraged to bring along your favourite materials, if you have them. If you have no supplies you’ll be given advice on what to buy art minimum cost, but for your first few weeks materials will be provided.
To book your place, you can contact Jen by telephone or email jro21@hotmail.com. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Spaces are limited, so book now to ensure your space!
