Do you see the Other Dundee? Can you write, film, edit, show it in just 48 hours? If so, Two Days of Darkness is just for you. Read on at your own peril….
Registration is now open for teams daring to step into the Two Days of Darkness short horror film challenge taking place on Fri 5 – Sun 7 April, 2013.
Two Days of Darkness is part of Other, a Dundee-based creative project supporting the National Theatre of Scotland’s forthcoming production of Let The Right One In, playing at Dundee Rep from 5th – 29th June.
At 7pm on Friday 5th April 2013, Two Days of Darkness will commence and teams of Dundee-based filmmakers will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and score a short horror film!
Your team will be given a horror subgenre, a location description and one other element (maybe a character profile or story outline) – each of these elements must feature in your finished 4–6 minute film.
The best films (as judged by their industry professional panel) will feature:
> on the Other online scrapbook – otherdundee.com
> at the Two Days of Darkness public showcase event at a Dundee venue – time and date TBC.
> feature in further Other related activities
