Smallpetitklein Dance Company presents TENTACULAR , a unique 3-day micro festival featuring dance, live music, picnics & performances in an enchanted adventure through Tentsmuir forest. Featuring a family friendly show during the day and an evening performance for adults only! Tentacular arrives: 26th – 28th July 2013.
Daytime event: The Hunt for the Golden Goblet:
The motley crew of entertainers from the HMS Tentacular have been shipwrecked and they have lost a mysterious golden goblet. They invite you to join the squad of intrepid explorers as they venture through the enchanted forest to hunt for the goblet before it is lost forever. A swashbuckling adventure is filled with pirates, fairies, boats and horses. Featuring dance, live music and aerial work, The Hunt for the Golden Goblet is a unique, unforgettable theatrical event that is suitable for family of all ages!
Evening event: The Shipwrecked Seafarer’s Social Club
Step right up, step right up, be amazed, be enchanted – a cabaret of debaucherous fun awaits you! Tentacular invite you to join them for an exclusive cabaret event in the company of a mutinous motley crew! An adults only adventure featuring dance, live music, and ceilidh!
Hosted by the Betty the Medium, The Shipwrecked Seafarer’s Social Club features dance by Smallpetitklein’s award-winning choreographer, Thomas Small, accompanied by live music from Quee MacArthur. There is also live music by The Onion Club and amazing animations by Retchy. There’s even a licensed bar, so bring your dancing shoes, it’s gonna get messy.

The Shipwrecked Seafarer’s Social Club is suitable for adults only! The performance is interactive and members of the audience will be able to join in sections of the show. The show ends with a giant ceilidh and live music.
The show begins at 7.30pm and will end at approximately 9pm. There is a strict limit of 100 people per show so book tickets early to avoid disappointment. The show will be performed all 3 nights of the festival (Fri, Sat & Sun).
Arrive early and visit the free Little Village and Marketplace where you can enjoy your own picnic, visit local traders stalls and watch local talent on the Little Village stage. Tentacular are even providing a bus service to and from Tentsmuir from key routes in Dundee and Fife, so you can leave the car behind!
