This Friday 2nd August, Creative Stirling plays host to Freedom Versions 2 (A.K.A “1NE4OURZERO2014”), an open exhibit of a Twitter campaign exploring the role of artists and thinkers in Scotland on the question of our contemporary cultural identity, and in particular, the independence referendum.

This truly collaborative installation took twenty gathered online over four months and transformed them from 140 character tweets into high quality screen-printed artworks produced by artists Richie Cumming (DJCAD graduate), Paul McDonald and Dundee-based Scott Hudson, during an intensive four day printing marathon. These robust prints are exhibited for the first time in this strikingly atmospheric Victorian Heritage venue in an installation contribute to it’s completion by producing hand printed statements in reaction to the show through artist facilitated sessions and through the social media platform Twitter. #14Zero @14Zero2014

Exclusive performance by Wounded Knee and support form End of Neil. The event will be hosted in the basement of the Old Town Jail. Previously a tourist destination, this year the cells will be converted into their 1NE4OUZERO2014 exhibition.
