UPDATE: Read about who was selected to design V&A Museum of Design Dundee’s first materials, here.
V&A at Dundee is launching its very first community engagement project ‘Living Room for the City’ later this Autumn and is looking for a talented designer to create the promotional materials to propel this exciting project into orbit.
Creative Dundee is delighted to be supporting V&A at Dundee with the co-ordination of this project. The promotional materials required include the design of a postcard and a poster to accompany the project, but the team are open to all of your innovative ideas!
The materials will be distributed digitally and across Scotland to promote the project. Although the designer will not be responsible for printing and distribution, they will need to consider that the final print needs to be economical to produce and must provide value for money for the organisation.
The deadline for submission is noon, Monday 16th September 2013. All applicants will be notified of the decision by Friday 20th September 2013. Final artwork must be provided to V&A at Dundee by Friday 4th October 2013, with ongoing communication with the project team required throughout the project.
How to Apply
Please submit examples of your design projects you have worked on, as a single pdf document and links to any of your online work to gillian@creativedundee.com before the deadline of noon, Monday 16th 2013.
The total budget for design is £1,200, including VAT.
