Sharon Dickie got lost in Dundee about 16 years ago while travelling the world and is originally from New Zealand. Despite doing a sailing race to move away, Sharon found herself completely enveloped by Dundee.  As well as running her own company, lecturing on occasion at the University, consulting and fundraising for play-parks, she is now married to a Dundonian and has two Scottish/Kiwi children. Sharon loves watching the city grow, though her thoughts often turn to  her home city in New Zealand, Christchurch, which is going through its own massive changes after being hit by multiple damaging and fatal earthquakes.  While in Dundee Sharon has written a book on her experiences of being so far away during this time. @SharonDickie.
