There’s a surprising amount of live classical music happening in Dundee in March, and now for the first time the musicians and groups playing and organising this music have got together to produce a co-ordinated series of 18 concerts across the city called SpringFest between March 5 & March 29.
SpringFest is about celebrating local and national musical talent, they want to bring exciting, quality music to as wide an audience as possible. Whatever your musical taste, SpringFest has something for you – small chamber concerts, gospel choirs, big band, concert bands, or the might of a full symphony orchestra in the magnificent Caird Hall. This March, as winter recedes and the Spring returns to your step, venues across Dundee will ring to the sound of music!
And if you think classical music isn’t your thing, they say think again! Inspire yourself, your family and your friends as you discover just how exciting live music can be. There really is something for all ages in SpringFest!
