Roll up, roll up for the World’s Smallest Street Market! It’s only 64ft long and 12ft wide in Johnston’s Lane, this Sunday 20th July from 12 noon – 4pm.

You can eat great food, take in some live music, find some antiques and new designs all courtesy of: Sooz Gordon Designs, Jane Gowans Jewellery, Groucho’s Records, Benjamin Barker, Multi Story Books, Cabar and Fiodh, Fraser’s Fruit and Veg, and Spex Pistols.

The Parlour Cafe is offering coffee and cake for £3 and The Globe bar is offering a burger and a beer for £5; live music from Nicola Madill, Sean McGouldrick, Peter McGlone and Chris Marr too…

STV Dundee caught up with organiser, Richard Cook of Spex Pistols, who says: “We are hoping to organise the ‘best and most quaint ever Dundonian street fair to raise money for charity,”.

“Excitingly, we’re also hopeful of earning the little street a place in the record books too. I’ve spoken to the Guinness World Records and they’ve got some concerns that if we use it then somebody could just come along and surpass it quite quickly – but they’re fine with us using the name.
