There are many faces who make up Dundee’s design community, throughout the afternoon we’ll be hearing brief insights from just a few about their experiences of design and ambitions for the city.
Dotted around the cafe you will find plenty of opportunities to share your thoughts, reflections and ideas on design in the city.
Put forward what you’d like to do yourself and outline your ambitions for the future of Dundee and its citizens as a UNESCO City of Design.
Kicking us off at 2.30pm, Professor Mike Press, Chair of Design Policy at DJCAD will lead a conversation with a group of innovative designers who are bringing design to new areas – in fields like social services, the creative economy and service design.
Hear how design-led practice is influencing their fields of work and how Dundee can best harness the power of design to renew itself in the coming years.
