We’re excited that the first Dundee International Design Festival will take place 25 – 28 May 2016, during Scotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design.
Come along to an evening of conversation and coffee, to find out more about the festival, meet the festival team and explore ways to get involved.
The festival is a four day celebration of design in Dundee, marking the city’s first full year as the UK’s UNESCO City of Design. It will include forums, talks, and showcases; a large scale exhibition of local, national and international design; and a day aimed at families and young audiences.
The festival aims to celebrate the heritage, current and future of design in Dundee, with our new designation as the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design at its core.
Creative Dundee is hosting this evening session in partnership with the City of Design team and it’s aimed at anyone interested in finding out more. There are limited places so please book your ticket here in advance.
If you cannot make this event, we will share full details of what was discussed on both the Dundee City of Design website and Creative Dundee after the event. We also hope to live stream the event through Periscope and will share details on this page and social media closer to the time.
