How can Cultural Practices contribute to a more sustainable Scotland?

Green Tease, an ongoing informal events programme which connects creative practices and environmental sustainability, are joining forces with On Site Projects to deliver an event in Dundee. The evening discussion, due to take place on Thursday 2 March at 6pm, will invite four Dundee-based arts projects/organisations to present how their practices relate to environmental sustainability and discuss the development of an arts and sustainability network in the city. Contributors will introduce their work framed in response to Creative Carbon Scotland’s culture/SHIFT themes of:

Discussions on the night will include opportunities for collaboration with those working with environmental organisations and opportunities for the arts to be a useful vehicle for engaging in sustainability related-issues.

This event is one of four taking place across Scotland in March 2017 which will explore the connections between culture and climate change with artistic and sustainability practitioners.

These events are taking place within the context of culture/SHIFT: an action-research framework developed by Creative Carbon Scotland over the past year to foster new cultural and sustainability collaborations, and explore their potential in generating wider cultural change.
