Since 2014, Fuora Dance Project has been creating and presenting its own repertoire at various venues and festivals, such as DanceLive, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Italian Institute of Culture of Edinburgh and London, Cottier Dance Project ’14/’16, Scottish Dance Theatre and many more.
The project, currently directed by Giulia Montalbano, is now looking for two new individuals to join the team in a freelance capacity:
Web Designer (Deadline: May 20th)
- Working with the Artistic Director to create a new look for Fuora
- Designing webpage layout
- Writing and Editing Content
- Updating website before and during the tour in collaboration with our Marketing Manager
- Creating a new domain for our email system of FDP
The role involves working between June and December (Dates to be agreed with successful candidate)
PR and Marketing Manager (Deadline: May 13th)
- Managing all marketing and PR activities for the tour
- Liaison with venues to organise print requirements
- Create, schedule and implement social media marketing content
- Seek out press opportunities
- Work with venue box offices to manage ticket sales
- Work with the project team to increase audience base
- Work to promote the production in local communities
- Work with our Community Engagement Officers to reach targeted audiences
- Attend project meetings
- Organizing the content of Flyers, Leaflets and so on together with the Designer
- Other duties as required
The role involves working 10 days between June – August prior to the tour and 12 days during the tour between September and November 2018.
