A brand new project called 12×12, created by Agency of None, is helping local artists and designers showcase and sell their work. Over the next 12 months, Brewdog Dundee will be hosting the project at their bar on Panmure Street.

A series of 12 artists/designers will each have 1 month to display a series of A3 prints. Artist and illustrator Stevie Peebles, who made the illustration for our most recent Pecha Kucha, is kicking things off on the 1st of August. All prints throughout the project will be available for £10 each and once featured in the bar, they will be available through the website.

Ryan McLeod, from Agency of None, spoke to us about the project:

“Over the past 2 years or so, I’ve been selling artwork in Brewdog Dundee and there’s a really receptive audience in the bar. The staff are great and really up for helping local artists and designers showcase their work. 

It made sense to create a project that brought together a brilliant space to exhibit and some of the amazing creative talent we have in the city. the fact that Brewdog doesn’t take any commission means we can sell all the artwork at a really accessible price point, 100% of the sales go to the artists and designers. I’d love to see more creative work being showcased around the city and I’m hoping in the future it’s a project that will grow and expand out to new venues.”

The project will be running from August 1st 2018 to July 31st 2019 at Brewdog Dundee on Panmure Street. As part of the project, Ryan will exhibit his own prints in the month of December. You can find out more by visiting the website or via #12x12dnd on Instagram.
