Dundee City Council has announced an exciting vacancy of Data Cluster Project Manager. Based in Dundee House, the position is full time, 37 hours per week. The post is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2022.

In this position, you will coordinate Data Cluster activity across Scotland’s 7 cities to ensure that use of big data and data analytics supports the development of smart services and smart infrastructure making Scotland’s cities more resilient and attractive places.

They are looking for individuals who have knowledge of open data principles and their application to the development of new products and services; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills; excellent data management skills; experience of coordinating research, budget management and monitoring, project / contract management and stakeholder engagement; the ability to work autonomously, a willingness to work outside core hours and to travel within Scotland, UK and overseas.
