Yes, it’s the day after Halloween and you should be thinking about Christmas(!) – most of all because lots of local markets featuring local makers are about to pop-up and they offer a great opportunity to buy all you need and support local talent all at the same time!

Urban Market Christmas Part One
17 November // 5pm
The Urban Market returns to Dundee with a one-stop Christmas shop showcasing the very best in homegrown artists, designers, makers, independent retailers & dealers alongside local food & drink producers, delicious food, children’s activities and workshops.
Dundee Christmas Light Night
17 November // 9am to 9pm
In the build-up to Santa’s switch on of the city’s spectacular Christmas lights, from 9am until 4pm on 17th November, the Christmas Light Night’s traditional Festival Market will provide Christmas shoppers with gift ideas and delicious local foodie treats. Choose from freshly-baked bread to vegetables grown in the fields around the city to gin flavoured with Angus berries – and lots more!
Dundee Ministry of Crafts Part One
24 November // 11am to 4pm
We have over 20 stalls at each event, each with well designed, well-made products from Dundee and further afield. Something for all tastes and all pockets.
WASPS Christmas Market
25 November // 11am to 4pm
The much anticipated fabulous WASPS Christmas cracker Designers and Artists market is back and now in it’s 5th year! A wonderfully festive event with sparkly handmade items by our ridiculously talented tenants AND a gorgeous of few of Dundee’s well known creative guests to boot.
Christmas Night Market/Taypark House
29 November // 5pm to 9pm
From 5pm to 9pm they will have free gin, beer and soft drink tastings. Along with Christmas music and serving delicious hot chocolate, mulled wine and festive wood-fired pizzas from the wood-kitchen. Not to mention the fantastic local produce, crafts, home furnishings, giftware, jewellery and artwork on sale as well as an amazing festive atmosphere in the 150-year-old stable, courtyard and our outdoor teepees with fire pits and rustic benches!
Crafted Christmas Market 2018
1 December // 11:30am to 5:30pm
Bringing together some of the best contemporary makers from across Scotland at the DCA! With jewellery, textiles, illustration, print, homeware and more, you’re sure to find unique gifts for family, friends and maybe even yourself.
Etsy Made Local Dundee
1 December // 11am to 7pm
The Dundee Etsy Team will be popping up at Wasps Meadow Mill Studios on Saturday 1st December from 11am-7pm for a chance to check out the best unique and locally made products that you won’t find on the high street!
Christmas Market with International Food
1 December // 11am to 2pm
Hosted by Dundee International Women’s Centre, bring the whole family and enjoy… international food, home baking, Santa’s grotto, Henna, Face painting PLUS grab a unique gift from a local trader.
Xmas Vintage Market at Rosangle
1 December // 11am to 4pm
Specifically Vintage are delighted to return once again, as part of the West End Christmas Fortnight, with their Xmas Vintage Market! They’ll be at Roseangle Kitchen Cafe with a dozen fabulous traders, all stocked to the rafters with jewellery, fashion, homewares, vinyl, collectables and much more. Plus, the cafe will be open throughout the day serving delicious sweet and savoury treats, so pay us a visit for a fun day out and stock up on everything you need for a sparkling vintage Xmas!

Makers for Maggie’s Christmas market returns to Maggie’s Dundee in its second year. A whole day of Christmas themed foods, drinks as well as an arts and crafts market all in aid of Maggie’s Dundee. Come and visit the centre for a day of Christmas fun.
