SWAP: UK/Ukraine Residency Programme
SWAP: UK/Ukraine residency programme provides: time, support, international experience and exposure. The objective of the programme is captured in its name – SWAP: Cultures, artistic traditions and trends, innovations in technique, perspective and philosophy cross-pollinate as creative minds travel the breadth of Europe to experience the artistic abundance of geographies both physical and psychological, territories once walled off that are now open for exploration. The deadline for application is 27 June.

Artists and curators with a genuine interest in expanding their horizons.
In the fourth year of the SWAP: UK/Ukraine residency programme offers the following:
- up to a 45-day residency in September-November 2019 hosted by our partners in Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro (Ukraine) – for 6 UK-based artists;
- up to a 45-day residency in September-October 2019 in Scotland, curated by the Hospitalfield and partner organisations – for 3 Ukraine-based artists;
- up to a 45-day residency in late August -October 2019 in Scotland, curated by the Hospitalfield and partner organisations –for 1 Ukraine-based curator.
Hospitalfield are working with our partners across Scotland and Dundee, including Dundee Contemporary Arts Print Studio – provide the expertise on the UK side.
