The Ferret is an award-winning investigative journalism platform for Scotland and beyond. On August 22nd, between 10am – 1:15pm, Creative Dundee will be hosting a Ferret workshop at the Vision Building.
The workshop will cover:
- Fake news – what is it and how to spot it?
- How to fact-check the news – tools and tips to keep politicians honest
- Too good to be true? Verifying what you see on social media
- Freedom of information – Get the skills to unearth the information you need.
The Ferret training has proven useful for a wide range of people, including professionals in a number of fields, community activists, journalists, young adults, librarians, and members of the public.
There very limited spaces so be sure to get your tickets on Eventbrite.
We have two spots available for attendees who are unable to afford the training, if you’re interested in taking one of these simply email us. We’ll be giving them out on a first-come-first-served basis.
